Aisling Bea

Aisling was born March 16 1984 in Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's top-rated and well-known comedians. The comedian appeared alongside Stephen Fry on QI. Aisling Cliodhnadh Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) who is also known by the name Aisling bea she is an Irish comedian, writer and actress. Bea's acting career started in the year 2011, as a stand-up comedian, after she appeared in small roles in Irish and British TV series starting in the year 2009. In 2012, she was frequently performing on sketch comedy shows and sitcoms. In 2012, after she received an award from the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA) and began to be featured often in various panel programs. In 2016 and 2017, she was part of the 8 Out of 10 Cats' team, as well as a participant on the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. She is the daughter of Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead, her sister, was also born. She was only the second ever woman to win So You Think You're Funny. Bea is her maiden name in honor of her deceased father. Aisling O'Sullivan, also referred to as Cliodhnadh Aisling was born in Kildare town in County Kildare. Her father Brian was a veterinarian who worked with horses who committed suicide at three-years-old. However, she was not aware of the cause of death until 13 years later. The stage name she chose was Bea to pay tribute to her father and wrote an article for The Guardian in 2017 about the suicide of her family members. Bea as well as her younger sister Sinead, were raised by Helen Moloney (n e Moloney), a former jockey as well as a teacher at a secondary school. The family was in love with racing meetings and horses. Bea was a guide for the Irish National Stud in her early days. However, she knew, that racing wasn't what she wanted to do for a living and that she was more interested in doing.
